What Past Students Are Saying …

“He's so nice. He's prepared. Brings positive attitude to class. This was the best course I've taken so far.”

“Very new approach to entrepreneurship. Any other class or a combination of them wouldn't be able to provide similar knowledge.”

Yes, I would recommend this course. The frameworks provide very clear choices around entrepreneurial strategy that I have already put into use in my professional life. This class makes entrepreneurship more approachable!

10000% recommend this class. This class should be mandatory for anyone interested in entrepreneurship or even corporate innovation.

Excellent course on thinking through frameworks and playbooks for employing strategies for early-stage startups. Beneficial for entrepreneurs, VCs, and those in new product strategy roles. Abhishek brings a wealth of deeply rooted knowledge and is able to present information in an easily digestible format

Yes, definitely recommend! The best course I've taken at Haas in my two years here. I had actually written Entrepreneurship off as a potential career choice, but this class inspired me to think more seriously about it.

YOU HAVE TO TAKE THIS COURSE! It is an experience, whether or not you're thinking of starting your own business, you will learn so many concepts you can apply to business and Abhishek does an amazing job teaching it. He's thought of everything to design an interesting, well-designed class … we had great team assignments, just all around I can't say enough good things about Abishek's teaching style. Berkely--hold onto him!!!

“It was one of the best classes I have taken … the case discussions were amazing!”

“It was one of my favorite courses … It provided a different perspective on strategy and a fun way to look at entrepreneurial ventures and what makes some work out and others fail. Abhishek is a great teacher and the workload was pretty much the perfect level for purposes of learning (but not drowning).”

WOW. Best course I have taken by far, not even exaggerating! I recommend for both veteran entrepreneurs and novices alike. Abhishek brings optimistic enthusiasm to every class, and has helped me demystify so much about entrepreneurial strategy and company strategy at large. I've used these frameworks in my projects, class discussions, and interviews several times.

This is more than just an Entrepreneurial Strategy, it's vernacular, it's lessons-learned, it's market applicability, and maybe overall it's a discipline that when adopted can facilitate start-up growth - regardless of your role. The professor is super engaging, well connected, and very helpful for a variety of topics.

This is one of the most remarkable and important courses at Haas! The instructor brings timely, real world case studies and connects the class to some of the mover and shakers in the entrepreneurial world - resulting in an incredible learning experience.

Run, don't walk, and sign up to take this course. It is truly amazing! You will read relevant case studies, and have a chance to interact with legitimate founders of multimillion dollar companies. This will get your entrepreneurial juices flowing to join a startup. I cannot say enough good things about the course. Professor Nagaraj is a treasure!!!!

I easily took more away from this class than any other I've had thus far. I will definitely use these frameworks to evaluate any business, start-up, or entrepreneurial venture that I come across in the future

Strong recommend. Great content and inspiring enthusiasm make this basically a must take at Haas. Fast comment pace in class is missed in some other classes. Reviewers should look to this course as a modelor template.

My MBA would be incomplete without learning entrepreneurial strategy.

Yes, highly recommended to be taken as a remote class. Worked pretty well.

100% recommend this class - our professor is highly engaging, there are amazing guest speakers, and you have the opportunity to learn from your classmates everyday. Hands down the BEST class I have taken at Haas. Grab it while you can!

One of the best courses in the program. An absolute must for thinking differently about strategy whether or not you intend to be a founder.

Frameworks introduced in class are practical and straightforward. The class does a good job of bridging the theoretical with the real world.

One of the best classes I've taken at Haas. The professor is incredibly knowledgeable and comes very prepared to class. Each class we had guest speakers from the cases which was an awesome opportunity to learn first hand from industry folks whose decisions you questioned and deliberated. Class worked well in the block week format as well and there wasn't too much pre-work needed. Would highly recommend.

Easily the best strategy class I've taken at Haas, and one of the best instructors I've ever had. This class has relevance beyond startups and should not be passed up. Do yourself a favor and take this class

Abhishek is a pleasure to have as a teacher. He puts in A LOT of work into his classes and works hard to bring in founders with real world experience. There is a great amount of theory and real world application

This is the best entrepreneurship class I've taken (and I've taken several). The professor is smart and kind, and his process of focusing heavily on real-world examples of startups, integrating their struggles and journey's within the context of the class frameworks, has resulted in substantial learning not replicated by other courses. If you are at all interested in entrepreneurship, I highly recommend this class

This course is great for everyone, not just for aspiring entrepreneurs. Just listening to the speakers and going through the case studies can change one's perspective about startups and entrepreneurs. So far this is the best course in my MBA program.
